Another successful shopping Sunday, courtesy of Sally Beauty Supply, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS.

Walgreens: Neutrogena buy one, get one 50%
1. Neutrogena 3-in-1 concealer in Fair o5, $11.49 – $2.00 manufacturer’s coupon = $9.49
–I need to test this concealer more in bright light (it was overcast today). I’m putting it through a few side-by-side tests, first against no makeup, then against a couple other undereye concealers I’ve tried out.
2. Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm in Fresh Plum, $8.99 – $3.50 (50% off) – $2.00 Walgreen’s coupon – $1.00 manufacturer’s coupon = $2.49, MUST-TRY ITEM
–This is AMAZING! I’m always on the lookout for lip color that moisturizes, doesn’t make my lips flake (like the Rimmel moisturizing lipstick), doesn’t gum up (like most glosses), and has good pigment. I wore this today for hours and afterward, my lips actually felt smoother! This is going through a week-long before and after test to see if it holds up to the claim of actually making your lips healthier. Before and after pics coming soon!
Rite Aid: Maybelline buy one, get one 50%
1. Maybelline Eye Studio color pearls marbelized eyeshadow in Limited Edition Teal Takeover, $6.69 – $2.0o video values coupon = $4.69 + $3.00 +UP reward on $10 Maybelline purchase
–This is my *gasp* first blue-ish eyeshadow. I’ve always stuck to browns and purples before, but this one just suckered me in with the contrast between the teal and the beautiful coppery marbled side. The color, swiped on via finger, is bold and the pearlescent shimmer doens’t disappoint. I’m testing it for longevity, creasing, etc. soon.
2. Shine-free loose powder in Light 01, $6.13 – $3.10 (50% off) – $2.00 manufacturer’s coupon = $1.09
–According to the packaging, this mattifying powder will keep shine at bay for hours. We’ll see…but I’ve wanted to try a matte setting powder for awhile, and this one practically fell into my lap.
3. BONUS: Curly Sexy Hair gift set with shampoo, conditioner, and curl enhancer, $19.99 x 75% off = $4.99
–Cheap curl shampoo is always a bit of a let down. We’ll see how the salon brands stack up!
CVS: Extra Care Bucks on Garnier and Blistex
